Changing The System

I have had two periods of major financial difficulty in my life. One was right after kundalini when I was pretty much unable to work or to function normally at any level. The other was after my divorce from Jim when I was taking care of my mother and her end-of-life affairs. My income dropped precipitously in both these periods because I was unable to work enough hours to produce the income I needed.

In that first period of difficulty, bill collectors were calling, sending threatening letters, even coming to the door to try to bully me into giving them money. At first, I tried to avoid or dodge them. When their persistence began to be insulting, or they acted like I was stupid, or even belligerent, I began to stand up for myself and try to talk with them. Sometimes it came to an argument; sometimes I hung up on them if they became nasty. After all, you can’t get blood out of a stone.

One day, after many months of harassment, I snapped at one of the bill collectors and demanded that they stop calling unless they had something useful, helpful, or productive to offer. Then I hung up rather abruptly. When they called back a week or so later, they had an offer. They would cut the balance due in half if I would pay something on a regular basis. They wanted $25 a week, I offered them $2. That was a stretch for me, but I felt I could honor it. They agreed, cut the balance in half, and I began to pay my measly $2 every week. With a $1500 balance, I was looking at 750 weeks or 14 years of payments. However, within several months, I was able to increase it to $3 a week, then $5, then $10, and I kept increasing the amount until it was paid, long before the 14 years was up. Lesson #1 – don’t allow financial hacks to badger you. Stand up for yourself!

In the second period of difficulty, my accounts were at Consumers’ Credit Union. I thought they would be easy to work with if I ever got into trouble again. That was an illusion. They were not. When I did not have enough for my monthly mortgage payment, they simply froze all my accounts. I was furious. They made a difficult situation much worse than it needed to be. Lesson #2 – don’t have all your eggs in one basket. Open accounts at several banks.

The situation with Consumers’ was all the more maddening because I had tried to work with them in an upfront manner. I had called them, told them I was taking care of my mother 2-3 weeks out of the month, and was having difficulty making enough money to make the mortgage payment. I wanted them to move a couple of payments to the end of the contract, or perhaps allow me to pay interest only. They held all the cards and simply froze my accounts…two business accounts, one personal, and one savings.

The day I went into their office to deposit a check and discovered the accounts could not be accessed for any kind of transaction, I was stunned. I had the bank clerk call the mortgage division and get my ‘account handler’ on the line. He turned out to be a young, arrogant kid. I demanded that they unfreeze my accounts. He demanded that I bring my mortgage up to date. Voices rose. I was standing at the counter in the bank lobby and there were a half-dozen people in line behind me. I didn’t care. I ended up shouting at him, demanding to know how old he was. He said he was 21. I accused him of being a snot-nosed kid who didn’t have any experience in real life. I accused him of betraying my efforts to work with them, and then shouted, “Your day is coming, my friend. You are gonna get into difficulty with money somewhere along the line because that is the way life works and you have to make hard choices. You’re gonna be in financial difficulty someday and I hope you remember this moment because I’m not going to abandon my mother just to make some stupid mortgage payment. In fact, you can take your payment schedule and shove it!”

I nearly threw the phone back at the clerk, gathered my purse and papers, and stalked out of the credit union. A few people were appalled, but one guy in line was clapping. I was too angry to care what anyone thought.

The next day, I hauled myself and my aging mother to the credit union corporate offices. I asked to see the head of the mortgage division. Surprisingly, he and his second in command came out to greet me. I explained that I wanted to work with them, that I wasn’t going to abandon my mother, I wasn’t going to abandon my obligation to make mortgage payments, and challenged them to come up with something that we could both live with.

They patiently explained that they had rules. I pointed out that the rules were man-made and could be adjusted at their discretion. There was quite a bit of polite argument going back and forth. In the end, they said they would not harass me if I would just not go 90 days overdue. At 90 days, their rules required that they initiate foreclosure proceedings. They said I would get one call each month to ‘remind’ me about the payment and ask if I was going to make it. They said they would appreciate a true answer from me so they would know what was happening at my end. I honored my end, even though my credit score dropped into the toilet, something that upset me tremendously. Lesson #3 – Don’t let your anger with the system run away with you and don’t back down. Do your best to work something out and then honor the agreement. That agreement can always be changed as needed. Both sides have to give a little.

The young man assigned to me started out calling as agreed. He was a little snippy at first. At my end of things, a series of miracles was happening. My ex-husband made a couple of payments. An elderly couple I knew asked me how I was doing with my farm. I said I was probably going to lose it. I explained that I was two months behind with the mortgage. They called back the next day and said they wanted to give me the money to catch up. After an excruciating debate within myself, I swallowed my pride and took it. My brother-in-law came along and gave me the payment for another two months. Then someone else offered to make a payment. Then a client who had died left me enough money for another couple of payments. Then another gift, and another… Lesson #4 Believe in miracles and the goodness of people who care about you.

Every month for 19 months, a small miracle happened. I never knew where the money was going to come from. Usually it came in at the last moment. One month when my financial handler called to ask me if I was going to make the payment, I said I didn’t know. He then launched into a high-nosed lecture about needing to honor my debts. I interrupted him loudly.

“Look, my friend, I have not been making the payments for my mortgage. Someone else has been making the payment. Every month I panic, and every month that money comes in from somewhere. I never know where it’s coming from, so don’t bug me! The monthly miracle is coming…it’s just not here yet!” After that, each month when he called, he cheerfully asked, “Have we had our monthly miracle yet?” Lesson #5 – Know that the system is made of up real people who really want things to work out.

In January of 2013 my mother died and I was free to make more money. I caught up with the mortgage and have been doing fine ever since. I have never regretted the time spent with my mother. If it had been up to me, I would have had her live for years longer than she did. Evidently, 86 years was enough for her.

There are so many issues in our face these days. There’s the election circus, of course, and then the Monsanto monster, the factory food fiction, the vaccination outrage, the chemtrail catastrophe, the pharmaceutical deceptions, the financial manipulations, the façade of democracy, the educational disaster…and many others.

You cannot expect the system to change to something you want it to be unless you take a stand regarding those issues that affect you directly and personally. This is how a system changes. You are not helpless, so don’t act as if you are. There ARE lessons to be learned on all sides, but each lesson learned benefits all of us. Corporations are not distant, impersonal, inflexible structures. Changing a corporation is painfully slow work, but it must be done…and the most powerful change does not come through the courts, it comes through one-at-a-time-face-to-face interaction. Just remember this: Corporations are characterized by intelligent people who go to work in them to make a living – the same thing you are trying to do – and who want to make things work. Act as if you are dealing with a human who is listening, whose consciousness can be raised, and who may report your input at some future meeting being held to make corporate operations smoother. You just might learn that we are all trying to make life easier and better for ourselves.

Ideology and Idiotology

I have concluded that we do not have an ideology, we have an idiotology. Ideology is defined as:  “A system of ideas and ideals, especially one that forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy..”

According to Louis Althusser, ideology “can be described as a set of conscious and unconscious ideas that make up one’s beliefs, goals, expectations, and motivations.”

Our current idiotology is based on belief in:  the Capitalist system, the Male-dominant system, Wars forever, Progress based on debt, Failing to Feed people, Medicine that causes health problems, Education that constricts consciousness, Business that competes, Allowing 1% of the people to own everything, Destruction of the environment, Religions based on rules made up by humans, Monsanto et al.

Life in These Times – Jonas, Weather-craft, and Climate Change

This piece is a bit long and may seem disjointed, but only because we are so used to pat, over-simplified, one-sided answers for everything when reality is incredibly messy and wonderfully complex.

I have a problem with the current issue of climate change. The problem is due PARTLY to the following:

  1. the facts point to climate cooling,
  2. the evidence that raw data is being altered to support the claim of “climate warming”
  3. the existence and use of sophisticated “weather craft,”
  4. the hopelessly tangled relationship between industry and governance,

and MOSTLY to:

  1. the naïve and simplistic habits of blame that people of earth have fallen into.

Regarding #1, here is a chart (from Magicians of the Gods by Graham Hancock) of temperatures in Greenland from 20,000 years ago to the present:Climate Chart - Hancock 1.30.2016

Are we to blame for the dramatic cooling and heating over the millennia in which average temperatures rose and fell as much as 8-15 degrees Centigrade? I hardly think so! Were whole civilizations lost? Yes, absolutely. Were humans totally wiped out by these temperature changes? Obviously not.

As for #2 and the charge of fiddling with climate data, when I was working with Dr. Levengood in the lab for fifteen years, he mentioned more than once that he and fellow scientists had been completely banned from talking or writing about what was really going on with meteorology, weather, or climate science. Even emails were forbidden. Recently, 300 scientists and academics requested that Congress investigate NOAA for “cooking the books” when it came to raw data on climate change (NSNBC International, 1/30/2016).

Counter-complaints say that the Congressman who accepted the scientists’ request for an investigation is being funded by gas and oil companies who are denying climate change. Duh! The scientists are not going to submit their request to someone who is pushing the current climate change theories. Let’s be real about how our system works! (More on the connection between industry and climate in a minute.) Anyway, this is not the first time scientists have complained that the raw data is being altered to show climate warming when it has actually stopped warming and begun to cool a little.

#3. Right around January 16th or 17th, I happened to see a photo of the sky, a silver craft, and some clouds taken by someone in Missouri. The guy who took the photo was excitedly proclaiming that it was a UFO, that it was sitting silently over his back yard, and that we now had proof of aliens. I took one look at the signature cloud formation and thought, “Nope! That’s a weather craft…and it’s fiddling with your weather, my friend. You’re probably going to have a deluge in a few days.” Over the next couple of days, I kept an eye on the weather over Missouri. Sure enough…winter storm Jonas appeared within a couple of days and traveled across the midline of the U.S., burying the East Coast under as much as 40 inches of snow.

If you have not been to the website What Is In Our Skies, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVqKe_iV2EI, you need to educate yourself now. This is a 19-part YouTube series that is excellent. The parts range from 6 or 7 minutes, up to 14 minutes, and down to 2 minutes in length. At least watch the first ten parts. Then watch it again until you can recognize the weather craft currently being used to mess with our climate in every corner of the U.S. The technology is not just amazing, it’s stunning!!

#4. If coal, oil, and gas industries are to blame for climate warming, all we have to do is stop coal, oil, and gas. But how can we stop coal, oil, and gas when they are the very things that make it possible for us to be warm in winter, cool in summer, or go to visit our family in other parts of the country or the world? How do we continue to produce pots and pans, telephones and computers, 600-thread-count sheets for our beds, and other things that characterize life in these times?

Can we move in the direction of replacing coal, oil, and gas (and nuclear) with renewable energy? Yes, of course, and we are definitely moving that way. Things take time. Some groups of people are way ahead of us, for example, Germany and Iceland. However, keeping a steady pressure on is necessary because people who are comfortable with the present industries will have considerable inertia and resist change, even though it is good for them…and yes, I’m including the 1% here. They need time to change just like we do. We are all in this together.

As for #5… I do not know from whom, what, or where comes the accusation of “human-caused climate change.” I see the phrase here and there, sprinkled liberally in arguments pro and con, but the origination of this idea seems to hide in some murky place that I cannot identify. So…let’s start with a question that makes sense: When we cut down billions of trees, who or what is left to absorb the CO2?

Answer – The ocean!

When the ocean is saturated, CO2 begins to accumulate in the air. If we are adding to the problem by cutting down more trees and burning more fossil fuels, that’s our stupidity, but rising CO2 is not the basic driver of climate change. I have said before that I don’t know of anything more arrogant than the idea that humans are responsible for planetary warming and climate change. If this were true, how do we explain the warming now taking place on Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and the other planets in the solar system? We do NOT always have to make somebody guilty of something, and this blame game takes our focus off of the ability to perceive what is really going on and come up with solutions that make sense. It doesn’t matter who’s to blame, it matters whether we do something about the problem or not.

There is no single, simple explanation for what is being touted as climate change. Reality is far too complex for that! I read recently – again – that carbon dioxide (CO2) was the driver of climate change. This is not true. Serious rises in CO2 are the result of environmental degradation. These may contribute to climate change already in progress, but there are planetary factors operating that we know nothing about. Take the solar system and what we know about its life cycle, add Mother Earth’s natural cycles of warming and cooling, throw in the sophisticated technologies developed and used by SOMEONE to change the weather, add serious environmental destruction, and all you can legitimately say is that “Change happens. Better stay flexible.”

Life in These Times – Gun Control or Decent Food?

Back in the 1920s, a dentist named Dr. Weston Price and many of his colleagues noticed that animals did not seem to be as healthy and resistant to disease as they had once been. They also noticed that people were losing teeth – sometimes ALL their teeth – to cavities and infection, tuberculosis was rampant, mental retardation was spreading, and crime was rising. Price and his colleagues wracked their brains and did all sorts of laboratory tests and research to identify the bacterial invader. It took them over ten years to ask the question, “Is it possible that, rather than the presence of invading bacteria, maybe something is missing?”

In an effort to answer this question, Price then did something remarkable. He searched out cultures and tribes around the globe that had never adopted the Western white man’s diet of white flour, white sugar, canned and processed foods, and alcohol. Taking a team of nurses, dental assistants, stenographers, and photographers with him, he visited these cultures, took complete medical histories, photographs, made detailed observations of lifestyles and attitudes, and researched the foods they were eating to see what was in it.

Price’s work was stunning in its methodology and conclusions. No one has done anything as seminal since then. What he showed again and again was that nutrition was as central and critical to psychology, attitude, intelligence, maturation and human development as it was to bone structure, blood and organ function, immunity, and physical health. As the nutritional quality of food fell, so did consciousness and the health of the human being.

As food became more and more depleted, inflammation, anxiety, depression, frustration, anger, and indifference skyrocketed. As these feelings spread, we lost the feeling of community within families as well as in towns and cities. Competition overtook the former attitudes of cooperation and helpfulness. People were always tired – too tired to do what needed to be done to survive…which gave rise to exactly the cultural mindset necessary for the rise of the corporation and “the job.”  All you had to do was show up regularly and you could collect money to buy things instead of making them. Self-sufficiency was lost, along with creativity and freedom.

Now here we are, 100 years later, arguing about guns and whether we need gun control laws. If you set aside the fact that the government has had a finger in almost all of the big, media-shouted shootings…and you set aside the fact that some other countries have twice as many guns and don’t have the kind of shootings or murders we have here in the U.S…you are left with one question: What is going on in our people that we have degenerated into killing one another?

Some years ago a school in Wisconsin with sky-high violence, poor graduation rates, failing test scores, and student apathy took out all of the fast food lunches and reinstalled a full kitchen with cooks making real meat, potato, vegetable, dairy, bread, and fruit meals. The violence stopped, the test scores rose dramatically along with graduation rates, and students took a real interest in learning and in what others thought or had learned.

In the school of life in these United States, the question we have to face is not whether we need gun control, it is whether we need to return to real food. Consciousness, which is the core of reality for each individual, is not maintained by passing legal rules, it is maintained by high-nutrition food with high levels of enzymes, minerals, and vitamins. Healthy people cannot be easily manipulated, do not need anti-depressants, do not avoid work, and do not easily give up self-determination. If we are going to survive as a nation or even as a people, the first thing we must do is return to real food. Without this, we will not have the clarity, will, or stamina to fix what must be fixed. And we do have some fixing up ahead.

Interest, Pimps, and Prostitutes

I keep hearing warnings about the economy. This morning another article about the auto loan market came across my desk. The total amount of debt people have taken on in order to have a car to drive is now over $1 trillion, an all-time high. Economists and analysts are critical of lenders who gave out loans to people with poor credit scores (below 660). If the economy takes a nosedive, a lot of those loans may go into default.

But here’s the thing…When you set up a system in which all the things people need for survival cost money, people are going to do whatever it takes to get money. When you set up a system of zoning laws in which your house must be built in a residential area, and all the jobs are in industrial or commercial zones a long distance away, you make cars a necessity. Cars are a tool for getting money, not an optional luxury. When you set the price of a car, knowing full well that people NEED cars, and you gouge them with interest payments so that they end up almost paying for two cars, they should be allowed to keep the physical one if they default on the loan. The loan company can keep the illusory second car and whatever interest they made. Getting people to pay interest is based on the idea that we don’t need to produce anything real, we just have to find someone with a need and squeeze them a little so that they produce for us. It’s a lot like the business of prostitution. People who charge interest are like pimps. They force others to work for them and hand over part of their wages. People who pay interest are like prostitutes. They sell their time, effort, and energy doing something they really don’t want to do because they need the item or tool.

“The Grid”

Back in early 2015, I kept picking up something unusual happening in October 2015. I am a consultant for a number of people who have a great deal of money, and in doing some work for them, I kept seeing something that I could not identify other than that it was big and would affect everyone.

I continued to keep my eye out for pieces of additional information that might come to me. On June 14, 2015, one of my Washington DC clients asked what I sensed for the second half of the year. I said I was picking up things that were basically good, although there were rumblings in the financial markets, and something else that kept coming up that I hadn’t been able to get many details about other than it “started in August, became bigger in September, and engulfed the world by October…something that turned the applecart over.”

Because of my clairvoyance, I have an 8-track mind and I watch information coming in on many mental screens at all times. One day in late July I was doing something in the office when one of my “screens” opened up. I glanced at it, thought, “Oh, that’s the October problem,” and went back to what I was doing. A second later I was electrified and thought, “Hey! That was… what was that???” But I could not remember what I had seen.

I gave myself directions to see that screen open again, and about four days later the same thing happened. This time I managed to get two words, “the grid.” I wasn’t sure if that meant the electrical grid, the communications grid, the financial grid, or some other grid.

I then gave myself directions to gather more information about what was happening with the grid, and about two weeks later a piece came to me that “the grid” referred to the internet. I had the question in my mind, “Is the internet going to go down?” A response came… “The internet will not so much “go” down as much as it will be “taken” down.

When I asked “Why?” the answer came back, “To stop the free-fall.” I then had a picture of computers being stopped because if they had been allowed to keep going, the banks would be empty and everyone would be bankrupt. By shutting down the whole system, the wealth of a few would be preserved and the authorities could then say, “Well, we had this problem, but everything is now okay. We just need to sort things out and get back online and everything will be fine.”

But everything was not fine. It was chaos.

I received a video link yesterday. Today I clicked on it and found it to be a news report from a place called Real News. It was an analysis of a 10-part television series called Mr. Robot, which has evidently been shown on national TV over the summer. It concluded with the 10th episode, which spelled out the exact scenario I’ve been seeing – the grid goes down and our financial system is destroyed. Here is the link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b015nM4GPK4

The newsman observed something I have heard many times before, that the Cabal LOVES to warn us of what is going to happen next in our world by making a movie full of ‘hidden information’ about the future. He then went on to point out what the TV movie series was saying – or warning us about – and it is exactly what I’ve been seeing…with a little more detail added.

In the television series, a group of hackers were hired to insert a virus into the banking system. This would begin September 23 and would eventually collapse the system everywhere – Europe and China included. September 23 is 2 ½ weeks away. That doesn’t leave much time to prepare, should the scenario be accurate.

The government is in complete control of the financial system and if the financial system collapses, the government is going to collapse with it. The government cannot afford to let the financial system go down because it knows that doing so will be the end of government. Thus, it would seem they would go to extreme lengths to keep the system from collapsing.

However, if I assume that the predictions offered by the Mr. Robot TV series are true and I look at the situation from an intuitive point of view, it appears that the government is responsible for inserting the virus. This is somewhat confusing. Why would they engineer a financial collapse? And then shut down the internet?

The answer might be just what I saw – so they would be able to claim that the internet is to blame, that the financial system is still viable, and the government is still legitimate. They would claim that we just have to sort out the mess and carry on with life as usual…and no one would ever know the truth about why it happened, what went on in the background, or what was really lost.

First, the U.S. is bankrupt. Could they be trying to hide this fact?

Second, besides the bankruptcy, there have been more and more exposures of corruption, and the people who have been directly involved in the corruption are under tremendous pressure. If the truth came out, it would destroy them and the government. Would destroying the financial system help cover this fact?

Third, now that all of the bankers who could point fingers and blame anyone have been murdered over the past three years, is the government going to destroy the computers – i.e. burn the books – that hold all the evidence of illegal transfers and payoffs, and that also reveal that they’re bankrupt?

Ruining the banking system using a virus is a very selective hack. In the TV series, the whole internet doesn’t go down, just the banking does. How convenient for the government, which needs to keep the drama going! If we can all just be kept occupied with Facebook and texting, we’ll be too distracted to do anything else – like think clearly or act with intention.

Fourth, looking at the whole thing from another point of view, it looks a lot like the September 11th bombing of the Trade Center buildings in New York in 2001. That was a massive gold heist of money that had been moved into the Trade Center in order to begin shipping it back to the East on September 12, 2001. We all know what happened. The gold disappeared. The take down of the internet/banking system may be another situation just like the Trade Center. Neil Keenan and Group K have just announced what appears to be a deal with the UK in which the Global Accounts are now being set up in several locations. According to Neil, $1.7 trillion in gold has already been deposited and more is on the way. What happens to the records of that gold if the financial system gets a virus and collapses? The take down of the internet or the banking system sets the stage for the gold to disappear and the elite to act as if there never was any gold in the first place.

Fifth, with all of the intelligence and tracking capabilities of the CIA and Mossad, how was it that Keenan was allowed to remain alive? Was it because they let him do all the heavy work of finding the gold, convincing the elders that it would be used to rebuild the Earth, and get the gold shipped into the hands of the Western bankers – who already had plans to insert a virus into the banking system computers and make the money disappear? Or maybe to make the old system disappear and when the internet comes back on line to fill out their balance sheets with numbers from the gold Keenan sent them, as if nothing was ever wrong in the first place? In Neil’s latest blog post, he says point blank that London is the financial center of the corruption…and in the same post announce that he has made a deal with the UK!!

In concluding, it is not clear whether the grid would be taken down more because the Cabal doesn’t want the Global Accounts to be available to rebuild the world…or because they just want the gold to replenish their own coffers…or because they are trying to avoid admitting that they cannot pay China…or because they want to screw Russia…or whether they really just want to make sure the extent of their corruption and bankruptcy will never be known. If they can hide the extent of their corruption and bankruptcy, AND get their hands on more gold, they have a chance of maintaining their power and keeping control over everything.

All of this really comes down to a massive attack on Russia and China because they hold billions – no, trillions – of dollars in U.S. currency. If a bad-boy virus wipes out our system of currency, then…oops! It’s not the government’s fault! Somebody did it to us, and we’re trying hard to fix it, but it just isn’t fixable, so we’ll just have to start over…unless…you have records, Mr. China? Oh! What’s that you say? You’re having difficulty with your computers too?! My, my! I guess we’ll all have to start over. Darn. That’s too bad.

And just like the Robes said, the corporate dinosaurs would go after one another and take each other out in a fierce competition to be able to say, “I rule the world!!!” I always expected this to be corporations like General Motors, or the coal companies vs. the solar companies. But now I’m realizing that it could very well mean the Corporation of the United States and the other countries who have incorporated or at least adopted capitalism. If those nation-state structures are now in a battle to the death, their death throes will shake us all.

Of course, if we could wake up and take charge of things, we might begin to understand the game, realize that we’re the pawns providing the pinball drama that entertains the big players as they pull the levers and watch the chaos created by their games. Perhaps it is time for us to learn to shake or slant the table to make things go the way we want them to go. We might discover our power and learn to use it wisely and well.

Thoughts?

The Rise of Corporations

Years ago I was visited by a group of little men in brown Robes. They showed me lots of things about the future. One of the things I saw when with them was the break-up of nations. I found this hard to take in and I expected it would be a rather messy process, but it seemed to proceed in a way that looked like a strange combination of logical, surreptitious, and natural…although there were certainly lots of arguments and court fights, complicated by natural disasters, assassinations, and regional fights.

In reading the few snippets of information coming from those who have been allowed to see the TPP, TiSA, and TTIP agreements, I was reminded of what I saw with the Robes – the rise of corporations to power, which then precipitated the break-up of nations.

The trade agreement that was “fast-tracked” through the U.S. Congress has sealed the power of corporations, up-staging government altogether, usurping the power of nations and making them redundant, almost unnecessary. This will lead eventually to the coalescence of fiercely bio-regional agreements that become corporations in their own right in order to balance the power of the big corporations. The difference between these regional corporations and the big global corporations will be that the regional ones will care deeply about their people and their corner of the Earth.

As of yesterday afternoon, the TPP was approved by the Senate. The whole thing was kept secret because it accomplishes the take-down of the nation and transfers legal power to corporations. The bottom line is that we no longer have a sovereign nation.

The Robes warned against trying to go back to what was. As they predicted, we would not pay attention to what was really happening until it was too late. Suffice it to say, the day of the nation is over. The questions we have to ask ourselves might include:

  1. What can we envision that might be even better than what we used to have?
  2. What do we need to be creating that looks beyond the ascendancy of the corporation and compensates for its shortcomings?
  3. How has our government infantilized us, and what do we need to do to take responsibility for our lives?
  4. How should we be positioning ourselves to move into the future?

I have a sign hanging in my bathroom that says, “Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be.” We are going to need this advice.
