Ideology and Idiotology

I have concluded that we do not have an ideology, we have an idiotology. Ideology is defined as:  “A system of ideas and ideals, especially one that forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy..”

According to Louis Althusser, ideology “can be described as a set of conscious and unconscious ideas that make up one’s beliefs, goals, expectations, and motivations.”

Our current idiotology is based on belief in:  the Capitalist system, the Male-dominant system, Wars forever, Progress based on debt, Failing to Feed people, Medicine that causes health problems, Education that constricts consciousness, Business that competes, Allowing 1% of the people to own everything, Destruction of the environment, Religions based on rules made up by humans, Monsanto et al.

Paris Parallels

Isn’t it amazing how many similarities there are between the Paris attacks and the attacks of September 11th in the U.S.?

The alleged attackers in both scenarios came from Middle Eastern countries that the cabal has been wanting to take over – Iraq then, and Syria now.

The attacks weren’t even a few hours old when French President Hollande accused Syria of being involved. He sounded just like the Bush gang accusing Iraq of being involved in 9/11.

Someone very conveniently found the I.D. of one of the Paris attackers in the trash, just like someone found the I.D. of one of the men allegedly involved in the Trade Center bombings. Additional incriminating evidence of bombs and jackets have been found in other trash bins, making the whole thing look and sound so hokey.

Even before they found the I.D., police began going after people they said were involved in the attacks. How did they know who these people were? How did they identify them so quickly? Other murder cases languish for years, sometimes forever. It turns out, they had been watching some of the attackers for years, and then carefully looked away as the attackers planned and carried out their attacks. The same tactic was used in the U.S. around the 9/11 attacks.

I can’t help but think about the regular surveillance that goes on by U.S., British, and French authorities and how easy it would be for them to keep their finger on the pulse of what’s happening among the so-called terrorists. Using this ‘inside information,’ they could then use the old Rothschild habit of pretending to support both sides of a conflict in order to create a desired situation, and then betray the attackers by turning on them! Of course, the attackers usually end up dead once their usefulness has been exhausted so they can’t talk about who funded or supplied them.

All of France shut down, just as the U.S. did, on the basis of fear. Suddenly people are being checked at train stations, airports, and borders – a total invasion of privacy. Even more disturbing is the reappearance of closed borders, razor wire, and distrust. We didn’t see the borders close or razor wire here in the U.S., but we did see the distrust of anyone who looked like they were from the Middle East.

In Paris, there is a clear attitude of “stay in your house, stay out of the way, and don’t ask questions.” We’ve seen that here in the U.S. in both the Boston bombing, and after 9/11 when George Bush threatened everyone by saying we either had to be ‘with the government or against it’ – no room for anything in the middle that might question what just happened or why.

In the U.S. the sorely misnamed Patriot Act was rushed through after the 9/11 attacks. We’ll probably soon see what France will try to push through as part of their attack agenda…sigh…so tired of all the terrorism stuff. It’s like a never-ending game of cops and robbers. How long do we have to keep playing? I wish the government would grow up.

Sasquatch

Someone sent me an article about Sasquatch and asked me to read it and let them know what I thought of it. I read it and thought it was a perfect example of the problem with so much “new age” media. So I decided to respond to it on my blog as well as to the individual who sent it. The article was about a gentleman in British Columbia who said he had established physical and telepathic communication with a Sasquatch elder. It was an interesting read, although quite cliché in its narrative.

If you would like to read the full article, click on this link… (I had to break up the link to get it to display properly, so you may have to put it back together to get it to work.)

As for what I think about the article, the positives are:

  • I have every respect for people who are attempting to communicate with a life-form that is not part of everyday experience for others.
  • I know the message of encouragement to connect with Mother Earth is true and necessary.
  • The article contains a message of warning about the need to awaken and evolve toward peace or suffer the destruction of our world, a warning that I am very aware of already.
  • I know how reclusive the Sasquatch are and how resilient they are.
  • I know people who have been communicating with Sasquatch for some time, so the article is not totally out there in left field.

The negatives are:

  • Anyone who has experienced telepathy and then tried to write about it is forced to put it in their own words. This kind of translation is challenging, and inexperienced people usually do a poor job at best because they do not know how to separate the message received from their own already-existing beliefs. The translation ends up being full of the biases and beliefs of the author, and this article is no exception.
  • The grammar is atrociously bad! I know that not everyone has excellent writing skills, but it does not help to raise the level of discussion about these matters when the grammar is not even sixth grade level. People are barely willing to read anymore, and bad writing only makes reading more difficult. Worse, such bad writing is dismissed before what it says is even considered. If you don’t write well, find someone who does to correct what you put out there.
  • The use of singular verbs that are inconsistent with the plural nouns they refer to is maddening and creates a feeling of confusion in the reader. If you are going to put something out there for others to read, for god’s sake do some editing. Just because someone wrote it that way (poorly) doesn’t mean it has to be published that way (poorly).
  • The use of the made-up word “uncivilization” sounds like a modern and very current construction. The Sasquatch do not have much of a language and it is highly unlikely this word would fit the language skills of the Sasquatch, so the best we can say is that this is a good example of author bias. It does get the point across that someone – either the author or the Sasquatch – does not think we deserve to be called “civilized.”
  • The references to Atlantis and Mu are cliché and out of place. The author’s statements do not match what I have seen at all. (Not that I am an expert on either Atlantis or Mu, or the final arbiter of what went on back then.) Neither Atlantis nor Mu was destroyed because they were “bad.” They were simply located in low-lying areas that were inundated when the glaciers melted and the sea level rose over 350 feet in three distinct flooding episodes. All the stories about them being punished for having strayed from “divine law” are projections of current religious themes that we are caught in.
  • The photos or drawings inserted into the text of the article are completely inappropriate and take away from the seriousness the author seems to want to convey.
  • While there are very advanced beings from other dimensions and other star systems who work in teams to seed new worlds, the way this is often portrayed is inaccurate. This article offers one of those inaccurate portrayals.
  • I am very uncomfortable with people who use the concepts of punishment, war, and extraterrestrials to justify their beliefs, to frame their beliefs, or as reasons for us to do something different.
  • I am very suspect of people who project the concepts of God, devils, punishment, war, money, extraterrestrials, patriarchy, or even the supremacy of humanoids, etc. onto the rest of the cosmos. These are memes from our current, very primitive culture. We are in the habit of assuming that these concepts form the main framework of life in all places and all times. They are not, and thinking they are is cultural arrogance coupled with ignorance.
  • The entire article has the flavor of entertainment that is being used to get a personal message across, something common on the internet.
  • The title of the article, Arcturian Ascension Tools: Sasquatch, gives the impression that someone is trying to connect extraterrestrials to Sasquatch. It’s always possible that this is the desired goal, but in my small experience with extraterrestrials, they don’t need many tools, especially Sasquatch. They do have technology, but their main tool is consciousness and they use it to perfection.

In closing, I am very uncomfortable with writers who are unable to give the human race credit for anything. Thus, someone else created us, someone else cheated or manipulated us, someone else is responsible for keeping us down, and someone else will rescue us. This is crap. We are powerful beings who have made poor choices again and again. If we don’t take responsibility soon for what we’ve done, we will just blow out like a candle in the wind.

The gift of life has to be nurtured. No one owes us a life. The great freedom, which we refer to as free will, is to do whatever we want with the life we have. Life is meant to be enjoyed. It offers all kinds of beauty, feelings, experiences, pleasures, and surprises. But the law of life is, “Nurture life or die.” Our world is pretty far out on one of the limbs of the tree of life. One good storm and it’s over. The great freedom and largesse that comes to us with the gift of life is given to us without interference because the end result is guaranteed…Either figure out how to nurture life, or the civilization will collapse due to its own violence and stupidity, thus insuring that no really bad civilizations endure.

The Inconsistent American Consciousness

The Financial Wars

Just want to make sure that you understand that the wars going on in Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Libya, Syria, etc. are really financial wars. The Cabal is out of money and needs to come up with some cash quickly. Options for raising money are: grabbing someone’s territory and getting access to their natural resources, robbing their treasury of gold, or offering a big loan from the IMF that will bring in some interest payments while imposing austerity measures so they can keep raking in the dough. This also opens the door to bribery and extortion of the puppet people in the new “government.” When people in that country figure out what’s going on, they usually fight back…thus the wars we see in various places.

Personally, I think they’ve run the game just about as long as it can run and they’re out of time.

Holding Fear and Facing Hopelessness

I have a little story to share. Years ago, when I first moved to Kalamazoo, I got a job at the Upjohn Company, a major pharmaceutical company. This was in the late 1980s or early 1990s and the first wave of “new age” thinking was moving slowly through corporations. I was not at Upjohn very long when I noticed that everyone had a very carefully upbeat tone of voice, attitude, and outlook. They chose their words with great consciousness, and admonished one another to think positively when someone spoke in a judgmental or negative way.

One day my boss asked me what I thought his future was within the company. My response was, “If the people of this company don’t drop all that positive crap and look at themselves honestly, there isn’t going to be a company. The world changes. Upjohn is not acknowledging change. I’ll give it five years at the most and if people don’t wake up, the company will go down, people will lose their jobs, and you’ll all be forced to be real.” Five years later, Upjohn, struggling  with rising costs and hopeful decisions, merged with Pharmacia. Two years after that, it split, part of the company going to Monsanto and the rest to Pfizer. Caught in the stress of all the job losses, changes, and new demands, my former Upjohn boss had a heart attack and died.

All of us want to think that the world is safe, that life is good, tomorrow will look at least somewhat like today, and that daily events will be manageable. However, this moment in time on this planet – specifically from 2014 to 2021 – is “crunch time.” This brief cycle of seven years is the change point that will set the tone and shape the events for the next couple hundred years. What we do or don’t do is critically important.

Do pay attention to what is happening in the world around you both far and near. Do not panic. Fear is one thing; panic is something else altogether.  Do not try to pretend that all is well when it is not; this is insanity. Some information is bound to make us fearful. That’s okay. It is normal to feel fear when scary things are threatening. To insist on avoiding truth because it makes you afraid is putting your head in the sand. You cannot use power wisely with your head in the sand.

Do go about your business with as much serenity as you can muster. Do not make decisions as if disaster had already struck, but do know what decisions you need to be ready to make. Have discussions with family and friends in which you come up with all sorts of questions about what you might have to face if… Talk about answers to these questions at another time. Create a small notebook containing the questions that are important to your survival along with a wide variety of answers for each question. Stress shuts off access to the thinking part of the brain and it is very difficult to come up with useful solutions when you are caught in the stress syndrome. You don’t want to be limited to knee-jerk, fight or flight reactions at the very moment you most need access to open, out-of-the-box possibilities.

Do have a few essential supplies on hand and do not shop on a “just in time” basis. Neither should you spend the last dime of your savings buying things you think might save you. Be sensible. Part of that notebook mentioned above should contain lists of what you have on hand for emergencies and where these items are kept.

Do stay in good physical shape so that stress does not overcome you. Do not avoid talking with family and friends about what may happen; you need to be in alignment with your people if trouble should arise.

Do learn to be comfortable with paradox. Do not insist on being one-sided in your approach to life or you will create trouble for yourself and be unprepared for a lot of things. Holding paradox means holding opposing views or a multiplicity of views and being consciously flexible enough to choose what is appropriate at any given moment.

An example of a set of paradoxical positions is knowing that war is coming, loving your homeland, holding a vision of light for all people, preparing to leave your home if necessary, taking time to learn and understand the dynamics of why you are being attacked, planting a garden as if you weren’t going anywhere, and celebrating a child’s birthday as if all is well. Another set of paradoxical positions might be knowing that the economy is unsustainable or doomed to collapse, investing in a company you truly believe in, setting aside money in both savings and alternative forms of currency, putting a child through college knowing that it is preparing him or her  for an economy that probably won’t be there, helping people financially whenever you can, and improving your own skills so you can get a raise or make more money.

Do not insist that people say only what is positive. This is immature thinking and not helpful in the long run. Do insist on truth, even if it scares you. To hold fear and face hopelessness while remaining alert, aware, and informed is a challenge for even a mature consciousness. Take on that challenge. To stay alert and act wisely in the face of fear is to force that fear into the service of wisdom and power. Each of us has an immense amount of power. Do not shut it down because things are not as you wish.

Thought for Monday, 5/5/2014

I used to wonder why the German people didn’t do something about Hitler. I often asked myself, “How could they have gone along with what he was doing? Couldn’t they see what he was doing?”

Now I know. They didn’t know what was going on. They didn’t get any truthful news or perspectives on what was happening. They were fed a steady diet of propaganda and slanted media stories written to make things look good.

Until lately, I wondered why the American people hadn’t done anything about the corruption in Washington DC and the loss of freedom. How could they have let go of our democracy?

Now I know. They don’t know what is going on. CNN and the networks don’t present any news containing the truth of what is really happening. People are fed a steady diet of propaganda and slanted stories written to keep the old illusion of American righteousness alive.
